Editorial and fashion stylist Dario Cotroneo presents a preview of his latest collection, SENZA PAURA. Defined as WITHOUT FEAR in Italian, when applied to hairdressing this means confidence in client consultation, communication and picking the right technique.

3 complete Autumn/Winter looks will be demonstrated on models, with the cut, colour and style for each. The 2nd half of the year will feature a new collection of 3 Spring/Summer looks.

Designed for confident 4th year apprentices and seniors

Dario Cotroneo and his resident salon colourist teach a hands-on workshop to gain confidence in delivering the latest trends in cut, colour and style to your clientele.

Released across 3 workshops, each day focuses on the cut, colour and style of one look from Dario’s latest collection: SENZA PAURA. You can do all 3 or any of your choice. The 2nd half of the year’s workshops will feature a new collection of 3 Spring/Summer looks.

You will workshop the techniques for each look on your own mannequin head in a small group with one-on-one tuition. Lunch, refreshments and a premium mannequin head are included. The mannequin is yours to take back to your salon to demonstrate to your own team.

The Timeless Cutting course distils the art of creating timeless cuts in two days. You will gain confidence and consistency in essential techniques for 6 haircuts. Learn the perfect set of skills for classic cuts that can be taken further into all haircutting.

This course is designed for hairdressers who are looking for additional structure and control in their work.

The hands on workshop includes 2 mannequin heads, lunch, refreshments and a workbook on consultation and communication

Time: 2 days- Sunday Cutting and Monday Colouring

Staying motivated and bringing the latest trends into a commercial environment for your clientele can be a constant challenge. This course is tailored to help inspire you on a practical level, with skills that you can transfer to the salon floor.

You will learn new and innovative cutting and colouring techniques that can be used on your clientele – the bonus is that your new drive and creativity will inspire your colleagues.

Day 1: learn 2 new haircuts and styling.
Day 2: learn 2 new hair colouring techniques and an alternative styling option, working with the haircuts learnt the previous day.

Participants will test their newly acquired skills and techniques on mannequin heads provided which can be taken back to your salon. Lunch and refreshments are also provided.

This workshop day is for the progressive minded hairdresser who wants to push their cutting from traditional to advanced techniques and finish the look with contemporary styling. If you are daunted by disconnected cutting and intuitive texturing then this day is for you.

Dario Cotroneo himself covers 3 cuts using innovative cutting techniques and adaptive styling tricks for face shapes. Hands on tuition from Dario will give you inspiration and confidence to take new looks and techniques back to your salon and staff.

Participants will workshop their newly acquired skills on a mannequin head that is theirs to keep. Lunch and refreshments are also included.

Designed for 1st and 2nd year apprentices or 3rd and 4th years who want to train and manage other apprentices in your salon

Do your apprentices need a fresh perspective in customer care and support for their senior hairdressers ?

Staying motivated while doing the everyday tasks in a busy salon can be a challenge for apprentices but this is the foundation to happy customers and efficient seniors. This first workshop in our Apprentice Development Series is designed help on a practical level, giving your apprentices the skills they need to become an invaluable support in your salon.

Topics covered with a practical and fun approach include:

-Customer service & Basin Skills

-Basic colour application

-Blow-drying.

Students will test their newly acquired skills and techniques on a mannequin head and each other. Lunch and refreshments and a mannequin head each are provided.

Designed for 2nd to 4th year apprentices.

Working in the salon day-to-day can be demotivating for an apprentice, helping out everyone and not getting to complete a customers total look. This day is pure practical hands-on leaning and also a break from the everyday.

Students design, cut, colour and style a look from start to finish, learning basic technique and having fun at the same time.

This all round development day includes:
- a long layer cut
- fringe cutting
- basic foil technique
- styling

A mannequin head is included for the day which students can take back the salon and show off their the finished look. Lunch and refreshments are also provided.
